Jean-Julien Pous is an award-winning French filmmaker who explores animation combined with live-action. Born and lived in China, his short films embrace both Chinese and French culture.

He directed commercials, installations and augmented reality content for clients such as Arte, Lenovo, Chanel, Millet, the Spanish Tourism Board, the French Federation of Tennis, the museums of Wuxi (China) and Hangeul (Korea). He gave 3d animation lectures at Kookmin University, Seoul from 2013 to 2017.

He is now working for the National Museum of Korea, on documentaries (Arte, RMC), and the animation shorts of Min Sung-Ah (Boriya, Annecy 2020) and Catarina Romano.
