Two films were made for the Museum of History of Hwaseong, to convey to visitors the soul of a newly built city surrounded by nature. Daily wanderings and encounters helped me finding the little gems hidden in the mundane everyday life. While driving around this widespread land area, a song I was listening to particularly resonated with this space. It inspired me into finding a rapper and asking him to craft a song based on memories linked to the districts of the city.


화성역사박물관의 영상 2 편입니다. 자연으로 둘러싸인 신도시의 결을 방문객들에게 전달하고자했습니다. 일상의 짧은 산책과 만남은 평범한 하루속에 숨겨진 소중한 작은 즐거움을 찾게 해주었습니다. 드넓은 이 땅을 여기저기 다니며 듣던 내 플레이리스트 중 이곳을 닮은 랩이 있었습니다. 랩이 이번 영상과 어울릴 것이라고는 생각지 못했지만 이 우연히 갖게된 확신을 따라 이곳과 관련된 기억을 바탕으로 노랫말을 짓기로 했습니다.

Deux films ont été réalisés pour le Musée d'Histoire de Hwaseong, afin de transmettre aux visiteurs l'âme d'une nouvelle ville entourée de nature. Les rencontres fortuites et les errances m'ont aidé à trouver les instants de grâce parmi les choses ordinaires.  En conduisant dans cette vaste région, une chanson que j'écoutais a particulièrement résonné avec cet espace. Cela m'a inspiré à trouver un rappeur et à lui demander de créer une chanson à partir de souvenirs liés aux quartiers de la ville.
